WSUC is a coalition of community resident organizations, community based
organizations, as well as faith based organizations, all working in the
Westside of San Antonio. Our mission is to
- Preserve: Keep families
together as a united community. To foster community, spirituality, culture
and basic needs
- Protect: Families from systems and predators such as
lenders and agencies seeking numbers without regard for the people affected
- Empower: Knowledge, support, resources, self actualization.
The West Side United Coalition includes American Indians in Texas at the Spanish Colonial Missions, Benitia Family Center, Edgewood Family Network, and House of Neighborly Service San Antonio Time Dollar Community Connections.
